Patti Le Plae Safe

Miss Gay America 1995

Crowned at the Robinson Center Music Auditorium, Little Rock, Arkansas

Fun Fact: Patti Le Plae Safe stepped into the role of Miss Gay America 1995 with grace and respect, choosing not to wear the crown in honor of Ramona Leger’s passing. In a unique moment in MGA history, she was officially crowned at the beginning of the 1996 pageant, making her reign the shortest of all time—lasting approximately 4.5 hours! A truly unforgettable moment in the legacy of Miss Gay America.
