Fun Fact: Linda Carrero, Miss Gay America 1999, was the second Miss Gay Maryland America (1994) to go on and win the national title. She also made history as the first Miss Gay America to return to her home-state preliminary and reign over it during her 5th anniversary, solidifying her legacy in Maryland’s drag community.
