Dextaci was crowned the 50th Anniversary Miss Gay America — a milestone titleholder with a truly historic moment during her reign. She is the only reigning Miss Gay America to meet a sitting U.S. President and Vice President, attending the White House signing of the Respect for Marriage Act in December 2022, where she stood proudly alongside President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and MGA owner Michael Dutzer.
