Le Cirque MGA
Presentation Costume Description:
Le Cirque MGA pays homage to vaudeville style entertainment from the early 20th Century with inspiration from the Steam Punk movement; a mixture of the Victorian era’s romantic view of science in literature and elements from the Industrial Revolution in Europe during the 1800s, with fashion designed with a post apocalyptic era in mind.
Contestants are asked to dress in costumes reflective of images referenced to that of a traveling circus, with a vintage feel. The majority of the costume should be muted and warm colors such as (but not limited to) gold, maroon, deep purples, ivory, pastels with various textures and adornments. Pops of colors are ok. This is not to be confused with a modern day bright children’s circus or gory American Horror Story.
