Contestant Apparel For The Final Night Opening Number/Parade of Contestants-

All contestants will be required to wear a solid ruby red, full length, all fabric gown (must be solid ruby red with no other colors).  No stones, sequins, beads, or appliqués of any kind should be on the gown… Contestants are allowed to wear jewelry including bracelets, necklace or earrings. Jewelry may be crystal, AB or red color stones. No other color stones are acceptable. Hair jewelry is not acceptable. Contestants may wear jewelry of their choosing however the look is to be classic and elegant. Shoes may be red, clear or stoned in crystal, AB or red stones. Hair may be in any style, but keeping in mind that the look is to be both classy and elegant.

 

Final Night Opening and Contestant Presentation specifics will be detailed at various rehearsals during the Miss Gay America 2012 pageant.

 
Former Miss Gay America Apparel For The Final Night Opening Number/Parade of Formers-

Apparel must be in a ruby red sequin, beaded, stoned or appliquéd full length gown. Rhinestones of any kind, fitting the color scheme are acceptable… Headdresses are acceptable. Former Miss Gay America titleholders who plan to walk during the opening number/parade of formers, not dressed in female attire, MUST wear a dark color suit with solid ruby red tie.  Formers who choose to not comply with the opening number apparel requirements will ONLY be allowed to walk the stage, during the “formers” presentation, prior to the coronation of Miss Gay America 2012… (that is, they will not be allowed to participate in the opening number, if they do not abide by the “opening number apparel requirements”… ). Former Miss Gay America titleholders who walk during the “formers” presentation at the conclusion of the contest, may wear any formal apparel of their choice.
