Contestant photos for the photo
gallery are preferred to be something other than that used in the ad, when
possible. (This increases content
variety) ü
Contestant photos for the photo
gallery and that used in the ads will be “title appropriate”, that is, only
photos in crown of current season pageant winners will be used. (If a contestant
has qualified for the national competition, as first alternate for the current
pageant season, but has been a prior season titleholder, the photo used must be without
crown. ü
Professional contestant
promotional photos are strongly encouraged, when possible, as this will enhance
the overall quality of your ad (or contestant photo in the Contestant Gallery) ü
Only crown photos with the
“Miss Gay America system” crown will be used. ü
Photos submitted for the photo
gallery should be 300 DPI and submitted in .jpg format with sizing of at least
4” x 6”. ü
Photos that are “cropped”
from a “candid” photo are strongly discouraged. (this is primarily because
the photo or image will most likely require enlargement, which lessens the image
quality) ü
Images used in ads, must be
approved, from the “owner” of the image used. L & T Entertainment
expressly assumes that ads and images presented for insertion in the Miss Gay
America Souvenir Program, are
approved, by the owner of said ad and images, for use in the Miss Gay America
Souvenir Program. The theme of The Miss
Gay America 2009 Pageant is… Miss Gay America 2009… “A
