Attire for the Miss Gay America 2009 Contestants:

The Miss Gay America 2009 contestants must wear a solid black ball gown. Contestants may add rhinestones but no appliqués, boas, or feathers etc. Contestants are not allowed to wear any “head dress”. Contestants should make a handheld mask (should be on a “stick”) that is no larger than 12” x 12”. The mask should be your creative choice but can only include the colors of black, white, and hot pink (you may use only one color or all three colors). Failure to comply with the opening number requirement can result in administrative point deductions.

 

 

Attire for former Miss Gay America titleholders:

All former Miss Gay America titleholders should wear solid white ball gowns. Formers may add rhinestones but no appliqués, boas or feathers etc. Formers may wear a “head dress”. Former Miss Gay America titleholders should make a handheld mask (should be on a “stick”) that is not larger than 12” X 12”. The mask should be of your creative choice but can only include the colors of black, white and hot pink (you may use only one color or all three colors).
